Please help me with large wooden letters

I've recently brought some large wooden letters to decorate for my daughters bedrooms but need your help with idea's in decorating - scrapbooking style.

Please write in the comment box or link up any old posts you have using wooden letters.

My friend from Chloe and Her Clip on Koalas is even having a giveaway if you can help me, the winner will be annouced next Wednesday.

Thanks for your idea's, I can't wait to read them!

  1. Chloe sent me your way, I just made a Letter for my office. I covered it in my favorite pattern paper, inked the edges then added all my favorite embellishments. I tied ribbon, stick pins, pearls, bling, craft string, brads and I just loved the way it turned out! I will have a photo posted on my blog in a few days! (Sorry it is on a pre-post already!)

  2. Hi :D Congrats on gorgeous baby :D Here's something I made with large letters. You could cover your letters with fancy paper to match babies room. I use double sided tape + gluestick to get a good hold, then gently sand edges to get a tidy finish :D XXX

  5. Hi, Chloe sent me. I did something simple for my craft room, by painting the letters (that were already together as a word) and embellishing it with flowers and a butterfly. Maybe you have or can find just the right embellies you want to add for your baby's room.--Pat N. You can copy and past this link to my post about it: http://patsscraps.blogspot.com/2011/05/scrap-room-decorations.html

  7. Hi, Chloe sent me!! I haven't read the others in case their ideas were better than mine, haha!! Why not cover them with beautiful patterned paper of her favourite colour/s? You could then add i-rocks or other 'bling'... Paint the sides of the letters in her favourite colour so they're nice to look at from an angle too! Can't wait to see you add some photos!

    Good luck with the letters!

Come over and see me at my blog - http://momentsbyshadow.blogspot.com, we can share lots more ideas!!
